Firstly we would like to thank all our customers who helped make 2011 a special year for the Lancaster Canal by travelling on our waterbus service and our Lune Aqueduct cruises. Our Fish and Chip and Hot Pot cruises go from strength to strength and this year we are keeping the same format but also introducing more live entertainment on board. Its a fun evening and we want to ensure that you get value for money. The cruises will run from Carnforth on wednesday nights in July August and September. From Lancaster on Thursdays and from Barton Grange on fridays. Check out the days to suit you but please book early to avoid any disappiontment.
Our boat "Kingfisher" is available to hire on most days throughout the year. That special occasion such as birthdays, weddings and retirements along with all sorts of excuses to get your friends amd family together is now offered at just £10.00 per person for up to 4 hour cruise). We also have on board a small dance floor area and fully stocked bar. We can provide catering or you can bring your own.
The boat is also available for functions, meetings and corporate events and with a top table area, large screen multi media, computer points at all tables, we offer a floating venue / office with a difference.
Our new on line booking system will come on stream in February and will offer easy booking on all our cruises and waterbus services. All our staff are primed to provide a cruise to suit what you the customer requires and will provide that additional customer care to ensure everything planned is to your perfection.
We have just released an exciting new programme of fun evening cruises for early 2012. Why not take a look and book a treat to look forward to. During 2012, we'll have favourites such as our famous Lune Aqueduct cruises and our weekend Barton Grange return cruises. You can even hire the boat solely for your party or book a large party and we will run a cruise for you anyday anytime.
Lancaster Canal Boats offer a variety of canal cruises on the beautiful Lancaster Canal situated in the North West of England. Our summer waterbus service is the only regular canal timetabled service in England. If you have any other enqiury just let us know and we will produce a cruise to suit your requirements.
We are close to Blackpool, Southport Morecambe and the Lake District. We also provide scheduled canal trips via a seasonal daily waterbus service. We run cruises all year round, and have many special themed cruises during summer and winter including our award winning Fish, Chips & Quiz cruises, traditional Lancashire Hot Pot cruises and many more.
Coach, Hotel and Tour companies are offered our cruises with options of meet and greet guides and on board hosts who provide commentary. We also work with a number of tourist partners to offer full days out such as Barton Grange
