The Cruise Options
Lancaster-Galgate return (3-4 hours)
This cruise through attractive countryside offers great opportunities for spotting wildlife such as kingfishers. A short break can be arranged at Galgate for a walk or a drink at The Plough Inn.
Lancaster-Hest Bank return (3-4 hours)
This cruise offers city centre views, a sail over the Lune Aqueduct and tranquil countryside. A short walk break can be arranged at Hest Bank.
Carnforth to Tewitfield return (3-4 hours)
This relaxing cruise offers beautiful countryside views. A short break can be arranged at Tewitfield for a walk or a drink at The Longlands Hotel.
Lune Aqueduct return (1.5 hours)
This shorter return cruise from Lancaster to the famous Lune Aqueduct offers spectacular views of the city skyline and river Lune.
Barton Grange Return Cruises
Cruises travel north and southbound along this scenic stretch of the Lancaster canal. Northbound cruises offer spectacular views of the Bowland Hills, and Southbound cruises pass the picturesque village of Bilsborrow. We can arrange return cruises to last between 2-4 hours.
For a great cruise with a pub break, try our Barton Grange to Garstang return with a break at The Owd Tithe Barn (4 hours in total).
The boats are supplied for hire with a friendly Boatmaster and crew members. Both have licensed on-board bars, toilets and are centrally heated. The boats are no-smoking (indoor & outdoor spaces).
KINGFISHER
Our luxury widebeam cruise boat has indoor at table seating for 48, with space for 6 more on bench seats and 6 on the exterior deck. We can add tables to the dancefloor to provide at-table interior seating for up to 60. Kingfisher is the perfect vessel for a party or corporate function. She has her own sound surround music system, range of multi-media facilities and a dance floor! To enjoy use of the dancefloor, limit passengers to 48.
